Maybe it's a good thing sput goes down the tubes so I never have to read a Tundra take ever again.

Been using rym in a slapdash manner for long enough that over half my ratings are on there, so the process of porting data over from Sput would be an extremely arduous is-it-already-here checkup and take twice as long
Gonna see if there's an excel formula to change list entries to the same format and then delete repeat entries
Also lmfao at users with 2016 join dates complaining about sput drying up. Tech slumps (with following fixes) and hacks have been a thing for years; only difference to this one is that the upshot of no avis is glaringly obvious (and particularly depressing). I don't see anyone flagging up the no question marks in reviews saga or endless rr-r-r-r-r-r- spam in lists, and the forums aren't exactly something to mourn. Userbase is obviously nowhere near as active as in the early 10s, but has picked up steadily in the last 3ish years

ryus is there a way to get rym to display all your ratings on a single webpage like sput? this is the only major obstacle to my plan
|
| |
i dont think so
|

As a 2010 user, do i have the right to complain about sput drying up ?
Also read about the sputcapocalypse context. That person litterally had nothing to gain , so why even do it except be a fucking asshole

As a 2021 joiner, the current state of Sput is all I know. It must have been nearly impossible to keep up with screeds and screeds of comments back in the early days.

I joined in 2010. It was mostly low effort shitposting and rampant toxicity for several years

Not much has changed lol. Nowadays it's mostly just rampant contrarianism where nobody really talks about the album in discussion, just how overrated it is and nitpicking minor production flaws/strange creative choices.
There is still some good discussion to be had and some great people here, but the bad apples ruin it for everyone.

Honestly, it seems pleasant compared to some of the older archival shit I’ve witnessed on my travels. In fact, even since I joined the animosity seems to have lessened somewhat

Yeah I would hope the toxicity has changed significantly, this is a swell place to be save for some choice moments, but that's the internet at work really. Can't be totally avoided.
