I love Pale Communion and Heritage equally. Sorceress is my least fav opeth album, but it's got a couple of quite good songs. In cauda is pretty decent, but it doesn't touching PC or heritage

In The Mist / Forest of October admittedly carry the runtime somewhat, relative to the remainder they feel very inspired. Uneven album. Undeniably chock full of thicc atmos and some killer segments of course (medieval melodies ftw!), it’s just a little fragmented. Idk, I see the flaws a lot more now and that connection has dissipated slightly (knew this would happen tbh) and need to make room. M The Mist remains and absolute all-timer tho
