I personally wouldn't say that because in a lot of the cases I prefer the original versions, but I see why you would think that, given how this is basically a collection of their very best songs up to that point.
Edit: That is, I would see why if it weren't for Judgement because 10/10

I’d say I prefer the versions of Are You There, Inner Silence, Flying and A Natural Disaster here.
Then Fragile Dreams and Temporary Peace are at about the same level.
One Last Goodbye is better on Judgement though.
