this is a very very very good 80s album, i can only imagine it's been underrated in critical circles due to being pop and mainstream

I get what you're saying, but I think the synth dates George's timeless songwriting. The rest of his albums feel ageless, and that's down to those records avoiding that synth.



It was unavoidable of course, it's just down to the tech at the time, but this is the only album that feels dated to me.
