Finally listened to "Repeat", the 20-some minute one-track album/EP (?) because it was finally added to Spotify (could never find a decent copy online for some reason). Anyway I highly recommend it to anyone who loves this album and hasn't heard it yet. It's basically a re-worked and uber-extended version of "24 Track Loop" conjoined with various other samples and tape loops and percussions and beat variations etc.

They digitally released Repeat and Metal separately for some reason.

Yeah, that's weird. They also released three additional versions of Graphic/Varispeed to mimic different turntable speeds. Neat I guess but kind of unnecessary.

man, this is all sorts of depressive and bleak
while I really like the atmosphere they create with this, it feels a lot more like a collection of sounds and ideas than a cohesive album on the first couple listens. will sit on this for a bit longer

took a long time to like this as much as Deceit, but will say too that the versions of these tracks on Made Available are way better
good reading music tbh

I’m grateful for the existence of those sessions, as the alternative versions are a welcome addition. However this is also amazing, the atmosphere is so thick you could cut it.

Also Diet of Worms and Music Like Escaping Gas are super underrated in the context of the album.
