A lot of sample based hip hop isn't all that bass based. It's mainly about the beats and really solid grooves

i've only heard nujabes from the three. his music sounds more on the 'chill' side so i guess it just never registered to me that he plays the same kind of music as dilla.
hmm im kinda understanding the affection people have for this album now that you mention it that way, not that i'd really do the same myself.
