No idea how they thought this much reverb was a good idea. Love this band to death, but I can't for the life of me find any enjoyment in this record when it's sabotaged at every second.

Yeah I really love how they didn't settle for trying to make HBII, which would have obviously paled in comparison

I think this proves them to be true experimenters, at least as much as the folk genre will provide

It's Fleet Foxes, but post-rock Fleet Foxes.

Post Foxes? (i'll show myself out)

I like it. I rather have this than have them be the same band forever.
It's definitely a grower though. It doesn't kick the door open on your face.

Yeah. Moved this up a spot. It’s truly terrific. It’s probably my favorite from Fleet Foxes

Such a grower too. I've never listened to it and not liked it a little bit more, and I'm on my 10th complete run through or so.

On Another Ocean is seriously one of the most gorgeous songs I’ve heard in quite sometime. Just wish it weren’t as short as it is. Wish it were like 7 minutes or so. Probably my favorite song this year tho

This really reveals more each time you listen. The strings in particular add so much more beauty to this, like on album highlight I Should See Memphis. On Another Ocean wasn't too memorable the first few times I listened to this for whatever reason, but then I just gave it a solo listen and it really clicked, now one of my favs on here.

I wish I enjoyed this as much as you guys, but I just cannot sit right with the production choices here. Sounds like the album was made in a subterranean cavern.
