ah nicely put

In all of soulsborne, i would say my favourite boss is magus and congregation...
Lol but for real, probably orphan of kos
Have nioh, have yet to play it
|
| |
orphan of kos was nuts, love that fight
|
| |
Yeah man, those screams are so shrill too. Blood curdling stuff. I love his sporadic movements and crazy combos; once you begin to understand them and can react to them, the fight looks and feels like the most cinematic in the series

I think Aldrich from ds3 doesn't get enough love. Forgot to include him in my top bosses but he's there
|
| |
I totally need to replay the souls games. And Bloodborne and Nioh. Just need a few thousand hours.

Orphan of Kos was insane, but I was lucky enough to beat him first try haha, I parried him a lot actually
Aldrich is cool too, but kinda frustrating haha. I like that he devoured Gwyndolin, little bitch boy
|

I put 400 hours into ds2, around the same into 3, about 150 into 1, and 120 in bloodborne... Kind of sad when i add it all up. That's over 45 days of constant gaming
|
| |
Didn't beat orphan on my first try, but managed to waste lady maria and ludwig on first attempt.
Took me about 25 tries to kill lawrence, which is probably my least favorite fromsoft boss ever

I put at least 1000 hours into Dark Souls 1 and Demon's Souls each haha, pretty much the only things I played for like a year and a half. Probably got 300 hours into Bloodborne, and maybe 100 hours tops into DS2 and 3.

I don't know the exact hours, but I put the most hours into DS1 for sure, then probably Bloodborne. I think my least favorite boss is the Curse-rotted Greatwood, hitting those spots can get annoying
I gotta play Demon's Souls again, I haven't played it in a hot minute

3 is the best by a huge margin imo. 1 is biblical and all, but looking back, it had so many frustrating mechanics. The bonfire warp system was ass and led to a lot of tedious backtracking, and too many sections were trolls just for the sake of it - like the anor londo archers or the casters in sen's fortress. I think a lot of people confuse tedium for 'challenging' in the souls series
|
| |
the tedium and frustration gave it character imo, but yes those areas were a pain in the ass
|
| |
Curse rotted greatwood is a little tedious, sure, but it's not hard and typically doesn't take long if you know where you're going. Whereas lawrence has hilariously bullshit splash damage, huge aoe attacks, an unrealistically huge healthpool, and several attacks that can instantly kill the player. He's the poster child for artificial difficulty

Gyro did you ever play Demon's Souls?

Ludwig took be about 60 tries. Absurd boss. Still one of my favourites.

Yea, even tho I love DS1 the most, it definitely has quite a lot of flaws and bullshit in it. Like a lot of shit that kills you is due to either the camera being shitty, unfair enemy placement, or glitchy shit haha. But I'm so used to it that I learned to love it all.
The anor londo archers were such cunts the first few times doing it, but now I just shoot them with poison arrows and let them waste away lmao

The game I've poured the most time into is probably Overwatch
|
| |
Same tbh. Too many hours.
|
| |
Yeah i love demon's souls man. Forgotten gem
The prison area is still one of my favorites in any game.
