I’ve only heard this, Is This Thing Cursed, and their Hot Water Split which is the best thing I heard by far by them but it’s been a min. This and Curse rly make me not want to dive into their discog tho

Versions of You is growing on me. That hook is sick

That’s the only song I saved from here lol. The rest is just w.e to me, but that track in particular sounds like something I’d expect to hear in like a classic Tony Hawk game

Underground, or Pro Skater era?

Album Rating: 2.5
I was thinking Pro Skater era BUT that might be due to recency bias because they changed the tracklist for 1+2 Remake and a few of the newer songs sounded more in that vein. As for which is better tho I’d have to go with Underground. I wish those would get a remake. Hell even just 3+4 remake and I’d preorder that shit day 1.

they've had some decent albums over the years, but they've really come into their own the last couple albums.

This album is great, Matt Skiba’s best guitar parts for sure.
Meet Me is obviously the weakest track

I was genuinely looking forward to this but it was painfully mid

Hm, same here. Just gave it the first spin though, maybe it will grow on me, but I'm not too optimistic considering how much I enjoyed their last one at first listen.

think this is is more of a grower than the last one but it is so much more rewarding, and that is coming from someone with like 3.5k scrobs of cursed. have been kind of having a hard time coming back to that one since this clicked w me

Gives me a little hope for this one :]

This is ok, some of the vocal hooks are terrible though, particularly the i-eye-eye's
And the bassist's voice is even more insufferable.

his name is dan and he's great

Yeah that’s just Dan Adriano the best voice in pop punk!
This is really good, probably as good as ITTC and I never expected that!
The i-ye-I-ye-I never bothered me (probably as onion said because Dan did it back on their best album. First time I heard Versions of You it was really jarring, made me think of a Ghost song, but I’ve played the album front to back probably 8-10 times now and it’s fine, not bad now I know it’s there.
