Their first three records were pretty damn great, how the fuck do you go from that to what can arguably be one of the worst things ever released?

Finally got around to listening to this. An expected disappointment. Bland and uninspired, just like the last one. A shame, because I do like their first four albums quite a bit. I don't mind poppy-- they've always been poppy, even when they made rock music. But the music used to at least have some teeth to it. Now it's toothless, uninteresting drivel with a total lack of any originality.
I also got the CD, and the cover, inner artwork and the poster that came with it are all AI generated. And there's an AI generated quote inside, explaining the premise of the album's title. Maybe he thinks that's profound in some way, but to me it just reflects the music's unoriginal, bland, creatively bankrupt insipidness.

Finally got around to listening to this. I was expecting way worse. The second half of this album I'd even call genuinely good.
That first half had me believing the hype though.
