Slave to Nothing had to REALLY grow on me.

I've been a stan of these guys since I saw them in 2013, and this is their first release that I don't love

I wasn't very jazzed about it on first listen either, at least until the last few songs. A lot of it had to grow on me.

I've given this plenty of chances lol, just doesn't grab me

I mean the last two songs are easily the best on here anyway, so this is a very backloaded album.

This album is better than Deathgrip but I doubt they'll ever top Slave To Nothing

Slave to Nothing is a great album, but personally it still doesn't jive with me as much as both Deathgrip and this.

Deathgrip didn't grip me much at all except for a few tracks. Slave To Nothing and this are pretty great the whole way through.

C/D is like a youth group scene kid's wet dream lol

Honestly, not sure if I want to bother with C/D. The biggest issue I have with these guys is they're not exactly the best with variation, especially with their heavier low-tuned tracks.

Warpath and Hollow King are the best tracks off of C/D

Maybe I'll try those tracks and then see if I want to go ahead with C/D.

Broken Fame and The Resistance are the actual best tracks. C/D also has the dude who did the best cleans for the band

Who do I trust on this one, guys?
In other words, who's more apprehensive of the overly low-tune trend in metalcore these days?

Lol I love every track on the album so Kenbo could've said any combo of songs

I'll give them a listen after I take on the new SHVPES. Muse dropped the ball and didn't release the standard edition of their newest on Spotify, so fuck that.
