By this time this album came out, I was feeling the Gizz Fatigue hard. I was apathetic to new music from these boys, and a little burned out by the sound.
Imagine my surprise when I hear The Dripping Tap for the first time. My buddy and I were driving to a music festival and he was astonished I didn't give it a shot. He put it on and the song was peaking & hitting hard as we turned the corner on the highway and descended through the Rocky Mountains into the valley the festival was at. Buzzing with nicotine. Incredible feeling. This might be in my Top 3 for these guys, including Nonagon and the new album.
