Every Opeth album does something different to me. That my friend, is pretty hard to find with any band that has an extensive and consistently awesome back-catalogue. I have yet to find a band like them.

Yeah, unique indeed, I can't find many bands to arrange except for them. You know, I'm currently arranging a lot of their songs for piano. I have The Moor nearly completely down. Despite the instrumental differences, its fun to play and sounds rather good. They're dynamic enough to sound good on the piano.

I haven't touched any of Hearse yet. I've completely looked at Blackwater Part Still Life and Watershed.

You should post those online taylor. I would be very interested in hearing that.

My favorite song from this is actually "The Amen Corner". I don't know, it's just harder-hitting than all the others. The intro provided by Madrigal is perfect as well.

There we go.

Also: the Remember Tomorrow cover is cool, probably better than the original actually.

Halfway through to the end of karma is the best part of the album imo

Still Life is a bit over-rated in my eyes

I agree. It's still awesome, but yeah it's overrated.
