Because our opinions on how good the music sounds should always reflect whether or not the people involved in making the music are good people, right? No, it shouldn't. The two are separate and most commonly have nothing to do with each other. What if Paul McCartney was discovered to be a serial killer tomorrow? Does that mean I should change my opinion and hate every single Beatles album? You judge music based on how it sounds, how the people behind it act shouldn't become involved. I thought this album sucked before I found out the lead singer was a pedophile, and I still think it sucks dick after I found out he was pedophile, and it didn't interfere with my opinion in any way.
