i think that it was a great review, but all the people knocking this album....well....they have a right to an opinion so i cant say anything. in my opinion this is a great album, alot of there songs sound similar, but there are like 4 great songs on this album, "i'm alive" "ten thousand fists" "just stop" wait thats only 3. i've heard better

I really don't like this band. But Donegan knows his way around a fretboard.

Disturbed probably is the best nu-metal band right now. They seem to have made their songs more different from each other in this album. I still wouldn't talk up Donegan though. He's a good guitarist for this generation, but he would have sucked in the eightys.

IMO mudvayne is the best nu-metal band. Some of Disturbeds songs sound the same and they havent changed that much since there first album.

i agree with Hunter555 on that, i still like his solo's on this album

i disagree with SCREAM on that, i love mudvayne, but i think that they recycle thier riffs way too much to be the best, but it is catchy. i also think that they needed to put solos in their later albums, because it would've sounded a lot better

Mudvayne may not be the best band in the genre, but they certainly define it.

Mudvaine and Korn suck. Disturbed and Project 86 own Nu-Metal. I've never listened to slipnot, but someone I have no respect for told me they're not even dark. I don't think it's possible to make masks that fu**ed up and not make dark music.

Project 86 are where it's at. If anybody's ever heard of Pressure 4-5, they were a damn good nu-metal-ish band too. I'd also stick Nonpoint in the honourable mention category.

Hunter555 doesnt deserve to be here. He cant even spell Mudvayne.

Mudvayne gets a lot of hate. Hey Hunter! They kill your precious Demon Hunter in every way possible. Even thought they're nu-metal, they are one of my five favorite bands. Go Mudvayne, I love you.

Guys stop your useless arguing, music is subjective, it's ok for him to think a certain band sucks, just like it's ok for you.

i can go with you on that, especially since Dan is starting to do more solo's, and they are good solos (pop-punk bands, i look at you)

^^ lol. IMO pop punk is just music wankery. Disturbed are probably the closest to punk I'll ever get. (and they're not even near the genre)

he has better solo's in the album such as in 'forgiven', but i think this is the perfect sound of the previous two albums combined
