An album you admit is generic, predictable, overproduced, brings absolutely nothing new to the table, and has the most formulaic song structures should not get a 4.5. The lyrics are pathetic and geared towards teenagers, which is their audience I guess. The choruses are annoying and whiny. The vocals have so many overused effects. The musicianship is average post hardcore. Everything about this is generic as fuck, but I wanted to listen to it since this band gets talked about so much here for some reason. Its just awful though and I gave it a chance.

Very well said man, most people instantly get outrageous and talks shit whenever they hear a single breakdown in a song, which is stupid. And you're right, this is a monster album! I will give this a 5.
