I dont get why they keep doing the clean singing, Slipknot has always been just growls, they could go as heavy as Iowa easily if they wanted to, but they choose not to, and its just bizarre really

Corey can barely hang with screams now, saw them back in 2015 and Corey's performance was abysmal.

Looking at the masks I can't tell who literally half of them are. When they've lost that many members I guess that's understandable. Kinda ruins the impact though.

I enjoy the new tracks but they are like 3/5, and sound really similar to .5, especially the chorus vocal rhythm in All Out Life. I'm too lazy to listen to TGC and find the chorus that sounds exactly like that but I'm sure it's in there.



I think Joey Jordison wrote pretty unique drum parts and those are sorely missed on the new stuff...

I remember listening to this for the first time and expectations were high as it was their first in awhile.



The first three songs (XIX, Sarcastrophe and AOV) got me so hyped. I was like damn , they’re back after the disappointing AHIG. Fuck, should have stopped there. Rest of the album was insanely disappointing.
