Well that is how you've chosen to deal with the info I see. Imagine I'm still living life the same way I did a few hours ago, so your attempt was quite feeble. Try harder, maybe it will get me to rethink my life choices lol come on you can do better than that

It’s not a problem and unreasonable to be suspicious of someone when they get accused of being the p word. And I’m talking totally lucid, sober and sane when it’s said. Don’t matter if there’s evidence or not.

Read the last few page and the maxim that comes to mind
In god we trust (and that’s debatable as well), everybody else brings (hard) data

Onionbubs dont worry about the drama its all vauge and not confirmed or anything and plus the bands fucking amazing. The only thing to be really upset about is that the band imploded as badly as it did.

Oh so do I but these guys scratch an emotional itch that no one else does really. Im just going to chalk whatever happened to being one horrible clusterfuck that only the band will know what happened or why.

It's one member of quite a large ensemble of a band and do we actually need to know? - needing to know all the 'personal bad stuff' is a relatively new phenomena and if the bloke isn't proven to have done anything criminal I think I can live with whatever it was.

The way the rest of the band has reacted spells doom and grossness to me ngl, and the 'one member' being both a founder and the principal songwriter does not bode well

Like Kozelek this band are beyond the realms of being cancelled in any personal way for me, it's not something I'll mull over while actually listening to their music, the music has just established itself to too great a degree in my life - the associations with my own life are already there and they're set tbh.
Notwithstanding a Lostprophets level of revelation I'll be listening to them a lot.
I'm cancelling Lizzo though and deleting my three 'Juice' scrobbles on LastFM.

Agreed re. their back catalogue - Judgement, Eternity and A Natural Disaster were absolutely huge mid-teens records for me and my personal associations are always gonna be stronger than short n sharp bursts of contemp discourse. Would still feel massively icky about any future material unless we get a substantial clearing of the air (which seems highly improbable)

Agree there'd need to be an explanation if they got back to recording new material, seems unlikely right now.

Been listening to this on and off for a whole 2 years. Solid 4.5~ with nostalgic songs. Except for leaving it behind.
