Same.

Agreed that Young and Dumb's lyrics shouldn't work nearly as well as they do.

What a great summer album. It sounds like a hot hazy day at the beach . . . It's riding the line between dream pop and slowcore very nicely.

Truly is so good. I just still can’t make myself listen to the album in its entirety in a single sitting (well outside of the time it leaked). I was looking so forward to this but if anything it’s growing off me.

I'm edging towards a 4.5. but (given some time) a 5 isn't out of the question.

I don't know how I feel about this. I love the music and the whole background but not too keen on the voice just yet.

I've not heard this yet. Their band name is a bit unfortunate but I'll give it a go.

I'm a few songs in and the vocals are par for the genre. What don't you like about them @dewinged?

As you progress through the album they sound quite the same in melody, intensity, etc. So they become a bit tedious. I agree in that they fit the tone of the music perfectly.

yeah the homogeneous nature of the album seems to be the main complaint for most.

I think people aren't keen on his voice yet because it's simply different then what you'd expect, which is a fantastically good thing in my eyes.

Pleasant enough, but I feel like I've heard this all before. Especially the first track - can't put my finger on what song it is, but it's ripping off something

thought their EP was really boring when I downloaded it last year in the fall, but I might give this a go

Surprised to hear the band play “Nothing's Gonna Hurt You Baby” during the closing credits of The Handmaid's Tale.

The chorus to John Wayne is so damn good. Whoever wrote this is a Brian molko meets dream pop also sold me on it. Been jamming this record all week.
