Yeah the new one is my first of his too and it's definitely working some magic for me. Unlike anat though it's the middle 3 or 4 tracks that lose me a tad, the last 4 tracks are amazing.

Sort of his vocal delivery over Elliott Smith style folk
Think I'm with Boney, the end of the album has grown on me revisiting it now

Yeah I have a feeling those last 4 songs will have the most staying power for me. The opening run has more bells and whistles but the simplicity of that closing run is very satisfying. I'm def gonna have to look into his back catalogue a bit.
