>Damn, even Wes Borland couldn't save this

I'll give the guy some credit and say he knows how to make things catchy. Re-Arranged is a perfect example of making something bad sound good, which is why that is Limp Bizkit's best song bar none.

>he shouldn't do that either

Davis can actually write. "Prey for Me" is a damn good song all elements included. Davis decided he wanted to be special in this album, and look what happened.

Yeah Borland played on Final Days, Your God, Basic Needs, Please Tell Me, and What It Is. Session musician extraordinaire Miles Mosley and Shenkar also played on most tracks. I was actually surprised to see Jonathan Davis didn't play any drums on it cos, aside from bagpipes (and more recently, keyboards), that was the only other instrument he's ever played for Korn (3 tracks on Untitled and an unspecified amount on Issues)

It's also a shame that they didn't use any of Shane Gibson's recordings, if he did any.

I want to like this because it's Davis but I already find the first song to be bad, and the singles didn't excite me much. What It Is is serviceable, admittedly

edit: also ""Prey for Me" is a damn good song" [2] Paradigm Shift rules hard

Really dug the more colourful and quirky approach they took on Paradigm, I hope the next album will be closer to it than the Untouchables-on-steroids angst of Serenity that rubbed me the wrong way (though I'm slowly warming up to it)

Paradigm was a 2.5. Serenity I gave a 4 I think. I might dial it back to a 3.5, not sure. Either way I enjoyed Serenity a lot more than I expected to.

Sorry, I was thinking of the Path to Totality. I get the two confused for some reason.
