I think a 3.8 is fair. It's good, but not great. It's a fine closing chapter, but it's not leaps and bounds above anything else. It doesn't stand out from their discography, nor does it do anything musically superior than anything they've done before. That wasn't the intention after all. One thing I've learned from Eat the Elephant is the meaning of beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I enjoyed that album very much. Sputnik had a hard time connecting with it. Although I gave it a 4.5, the average is a 3.2. It has its problems, but that doesn't mean it is a bad record. 3.8 is a hell of a lot better than a 3.2.

Eat The Elephant is a good record, I agree. Also, I do think this is incredible, I knew that after I heard Ahead Of Ourselves, wich for me, is one of NIN's greatest songs.
