This is growing on me, even my least favorite tracks. Even though it's kind of plodding it's also pretty diverse and interesting at the same time. Obviously the first three records are on another level with being dynamic and adventurous.

It's better than Tranz and Lake Zurich imo. This still suffers from being a little thin on ideas at times with tracks like those, like Humanz.

Tranz and Lake Zurich are two of the best tracks on here...

I like every other song on here more but I'll keep listening and maybe they'll grow on me. They're pretty good songs just kinda repetitive, I get more out of the others.

Listening through for the first time. I got this at a 4.0 at Kansas now, but I won't rate this for another couple weeks. Gotta digest it all, so much better than Humanz! That was a very good and ambituous effort, but it just fell flat too many times. This feels like if The Fall was properly groomed. I like Plastic Beach the most of all their records by the way. Believe me, on release of PB I did not feel that way. I loved their S/T but Demon Days totally won me over. Funny thing is today I listen to Demon Days the least. It was instantly gripping, but the pop nature of it also made it wear thin after a dozen listens. A great pop listen, but to me it does not hold up after years and years. Plastic Beach was overwhelming and confusing at first, but ended up having so many amazing tracks when you really dig into it and accept it for what it is.
