Saw them, it was awesome. Claudio just singing without a guitar and bringing out the double neck was epic and the setlist had so many old classics along with newer songs. If you can catch them on tour, do it.

As a hardcore Coheed fan, I have to say this a perfect return to their older material and probably their best album since IV.

Toys is one of their best songs, and this album is big step up from their last few releases.

Love Protocol hits me hard man.

Had this girl in high school I fell head over fucking heels for. We dated for a time and it was some of the happiest times I can remember, she had lingering mental trauma from an incident in her life that I ended up helping her overcome throughout our relationship. Unfortunately we broke up because she realized she never actually had feelings for me, she just needed me as emotional support. After our relationship she stopped being shy and withdrawn. She joined the cheerleading squad, made tons of friends, and her life got 10x better. Whatever hurt I coulda felt from the breakup was made mute by how better her life had gotten. It was one of the few good things I ever accomplished in my life.

But I fucking loved her man...

26 years old and a dateless virgin and too afraid to even talk to women let alone start a relationship. I wonder if maybe that breakup caused me to get jaded. I would have a short lived relationship a few years later and that was it. Haven't dated anyone since. I can't say I was ever the same since then. I lost something when that relationship ended. IDK what it was, but I know something's gone.
