I mean it's fucking Muse, as much as people want to say that they were "refined" and serious back when they released OoS, they weren't. They've never been, they've always been like this, so being surprised about how dumb, bombastic and insane their more recent output is just seems weird to me. I've always enjoyed this band because of how excessive it is, expecting Muse to proceed differently would defeat the purpose of what the band stands for lmao
