I paused This Heat to listen to their music which I've mostly avoided so far in my life and it's just so insulting and calculated to hit you right in the heart while you're doing the ironing
if this was bad and exuberant it'd be way better, I like folky melodies in general. like the objective music is well done but you know its intention and you gotta condemn it. "awful"'s the correct way to look at this

This is probably an insult to Kings of Leon. Even they had some great records in the past, although I haven't been interested since Only By the Night. Good album, but I heard a lot of crap about their post-OBTN work.
