this one grew off me a good bit since when I reviewed it., I think stovall still reigns supreme as best microwave

This is an all time band, snagged a vip ticket for the sold out chcicago show. So hyped to see them playing bigger venues and selling more

new one felt pretty dry first listen. def my least favorite of theirs but i'm not a microwave fan tbf. only crazy about this album so y'all who dig the first two + that sorta chiller lane of this style would probably be happy

on the bright side ripping this afterwards shows it's still got it

New one is a stark difference from this. Definitely leans more on the side of their first couple albums, but it is also real unique in their discography. I enjoy it and am happy that the non-singles feel just as good as the singles to me

always thought it odd how these guys don't get much recognition even though they've consistently had 400-500k monthly spotify listeners for years now

Not really feeling the new one unfortunately. It really is just the better version of Turnover's last snoozefest but still nothing remarkable

Extremely underwhelming on first listen, some neat ideas/vibes but as a whole feels incomplete, like it's missing several tracks

Closer is an absolute tune and Bored of Being Sad is cool. Couldn't connect with the rest

While I enjoy it more, I get where this is coming from. Especially with such a longgggg drawn out release (circling the drain is > 2 years old!) this feels a little thinner than I would have liked it to be

New album is seriously a huge disappointment, some downright awful songs and overall just limp and boring

First 3 songs are terrible imo, especially the opener. There are some decent moments after that but the album is just way below what these dudes are capable of

The opener and strangers are pretty bad, and degeneracy and Ferrari aren’t far from the bad column imo. Bored of Being Sad and Huperzine are both nice though. luckily I didn’t jam the singles before the full release

This is the only album by this band that I like tbh but it’s really good, wish they ditched the poppier tendencies and just got weird with it
