I think the songwriting is fine. Simpler than on NMG, but they're going for straight up bangers instead of artsy apocalyptic statements. My preference lies with the latter, but this is still boatloads of fun. The combination of energy and melodic hooks at certain junctures is unreal.

JayEnder, I agree with you completely about the bookends. I just happened to enjoy every song in between too. The opener and closer are 5/5's and the rest are 3.5/5 to 4/5's. Not a bad song here IMO and that includes At Least We Found the Floor.
