kendrick's response will impact his legacy more than anything he will ever release for the rest of his career probably

he either follows through on all the posturing as the guy everybody believed "you don't want beef with" for a decade+ or he's a paper tiger

drake responded, and put out a great track at that. nobody expected that. he's already won in a way. this beef means so much more for kendrick than it does drake and its not even close. drake has been in like half a dozen beefs at this point. kendrick is a supposed final boss who has never actually beefed with anyone ever.

i mean the whole thing is cultural i guess, but it's ridiculous to me when I see rappers releasing diss tracks. in any case, here's an idea for Mr. Duckworth: instead of fucking around with fucking Aubrey, can you please release a new album before half a decade's passed again? thanks, much appreciated

been really out of the loop of the whole cole x drake x kendrick beef but i find it very difficult to believe drake's response holds that much weight

i didnt say he's better than he's ever been i said he's as good as he ever was. this album was dope and was everything i wanted in a kendrick album. i just got covid immediately after so i haven't listened to it since but it's great.

kendrick has dropped dozens and dozens of verses over the past decade trying to bait people (but especially drake). every rapper claims they're unfuckwithable but like 99.9% of people actually believe it with kendrick. he has built himself up as someone who is literally incapable of losing a rap beef, and that everyone is scared of... despite never actually having been in a beef before. dude has just talked way too much shit over the years, especially about drake, to the point if he doesn't obliterate drake with his response he's gonna look like a clown. anything less is a disappointment. this is a decade in the making

He can't. He won't either. Bro got accused of being extorted that shit is BIG enough alone to warrant a response. And his wife got name-dropped in the diss too. He's not letting this slide

if you feel the need to brag or talk about money in your raps, you can't really claim to be a real rapper. a real rapper has an actual message. aesop rock, immortal technique etc

Once in a blue moon he has good takes… I think I actually agreed with him about something last week but I can’t remember what it was about or what thread it was in but I’m almost positive it happened.

I wonder if NASA suddenly recieved a transmission from the stars that read "Ass, Money, Titttieessss" if they'd consider it a real message or not

kendrick once upon a time:

But this is hip hop and them niggas should know what time it is

And that goes for Jermaine Cole, Big KRIT, Wale

Pusha T, Meek Millz, A$AP Rocky, Drake

Big Sean, Jay Electron', Tyler, Mac Miller

I got love for you all but I'm tryna murder you niggas

Tryna make sure your core fans never heard of you niggas

They dont wanna hear not one more noun or verb from you niggas

What is competition? I'm tryna raise the bar high

Who tryna jump and get it?

TIME TO BACK IT UP KENNY

That was all friendly too. I need his response to Aubrey to be mean spirited and cutthroat as fuck with no decorum.
