The opening riff for Bleeding Out might be better.

Pure Light of Mind is one of the lesser tracks here imo but does have its moments. This album at its best is exactly what I want from In Flames at this point of their career. Hope they continue or improve upon the quality here.

Seeing them tonight, should be fun. Probably going to be the only time I've seen them where they won't open with Cloud Connected.

Update: they put on a fantastic show, best I've ever seen from them. The songs from this album translate very well live.

I saw them live last night. They focused on their new music unfortunately playing I am above, voices, deliver us, everything is wrong, paralyzed and surprisingly the deep track delight and angers. They played food for the gods, bullet ride, cloud connected and take this life through. They sounded good overall. The guy from Dillinger was playing bass and he was pretty audible.

That's a pretty awful setlist, but I'm not surprised considering most of their setlists have been pretty bad for a very long time.

Still find it weird that Liam Wilson is in this band, or at least touring with them. But yeah, thats not the greatest setlist. The setlist they had when I saw them in 2021 definitely had something for every fan. Although would love to see Bullet Ride live.

Chris broderick too. When I saw them last year they were playing behind space, scorn, episode 666, take this life. nothing from sounds of a playground through I the mask. not sure what happened

Yeah Chris Broderick being in the line-up is definitely the wildest lol. The fact that they are more American than Swedish now is downright hilarious

fuck anders and his whiny emo bitch persona

should've kicked him out of the band ages ago, maybe their destiny would've been different from the piss poor last 18 years

I mean, whatever opinion we have about how in flames turned out, they're doing quite well for themselves

People blame anders for everything but bjorn wrote all of sounds of a playground fading and cowrote all of the following albums. its not like anders is the dictator
