Ah I see, yes possibly true, although I do have a fair number of 4s which will have contributed. I hadn't really considered jazz being a rogue Sput genre before, but I suppose it's used in place of more suitable descriptors (or when it would otherwise be utilised as a general accompanying descriptor / minor tag, rather than a fully-fledged pie affecting one)

People really need to pull the christmas trees from their asses. The grandstanding in regards to a HEALTH review (again, a HEALTH review) is so dumb. Go over to the Sleep Token or Lateralus threads.

i don't think i've heard a single jazz record from this year

and this has probably been the year i've jammed the most (actual) jazz records

"Go over to the Sleep Token or Lateralus threads"

i see next to no meaningful difference between these three artists

Oh and Jaimie Branch's posthumous release is #2

Everyone should check that. It's her peak. Also actually jazz music

ok i mean regarding the line in question

it was def a throwaway line without much thought to it that probably should have been thought over more

it def is incorrect

its probably pretty harmless in the grand scheme of things and acting like it was a slight towards other reviewers was funny

gg

Oh yay it’s a jazz thread now I love Patty Waters, she is so innovative not like all the other singers who are just trend chasing using these “words” and “melodies”
