It seems all copies (including the one I'm listening to, borrowed from a library) are packed with bonus tracks. I hope I can find and buy an edition without extra songs...This Message Edited On 05.09.06

This album is absolutely amazing, I've been listening to it non-stop the last few days. Pretty much all of the tracks are astounding. Time of the Season is probably one of the best songs of the sixties.

And this review is fantastic.

And does anyone know where this can be bought over the internet without any bonus tracks? I haven't been able to find it.

Crumb's the best reviewer on the site, so that's probably why

Ya, this review among others really made me buy this album last week. I still haven't even taken it out of the packaging as I am waiting until I move back in to school to listen to all my newly purchased albums, so I have something to do when I get bored.

I listened to this for the 5th time today (needed that many times to get a good feel for it), and it's fucking amazing, full of mysterious beauty. It's one of those albums like Sgt. Pepper's and Forever Changes that seems to depict the times (at least from what I've heard)

Exellent review man! I'm heavily into the psychadelic 60's at the moment and this album is simply fantastic!
Anyone who liked this album should also check out the following albums by these very underated bands:
Love- Forever changes 1967
Iron Butterfly-In-a-gadda-da-vida 1968
Quicksilver messenger service- happy trails 1969

Great review - this is one of my favourite albums ever. Can't believe you didn't mention 'Hung up on a Dream' though...the vocal overlays at the end are phenomenal.

Yeah, this hooked me on first listen. Still gotta wear it in, though I know this is going to be bumped up to a 5 before long.

Great review, tremendous effort.
