Relistening after quite a while. I did remember that this sounded terrible, but not how terrible... Thin Cardboard plastic drums for which all lower frequencies drowned out that are waaaaay too high in the mix. No low end in guitars neither, no crunch no oomph. This might be the worst sounding professionally produced metal album in history...
It's a pity as the songs are awesome if one is willing to look beyond the obvious wackiness of the genre...
