0.0 | LifeAsAChipmunk | July 6th 12 | The Fight is somewhat of your typical Bluesy Indie Rock band. However, they prevail in writing very catchy songs, bass-heavy songs that are perfect for one to relax to. The lyrical themes are often somber and embedded with disillusionment: "If by night I'm a sinner, what am I in the morning? If you give more than you take, Does that make you a good person?" and "Please just hold me, I'm young and I'm dumb and I'm numb. I need someone that can wake me up, to show me that there is love." However, beneath the self-frustration is a prevailing sense of determination. Despite relying on slow yet hook heavy songs, the album does not really falter the entire way through.
