0.0 | Steoandnoodles | August 27th 12 | I'm torn on Poor Moon because it's clearly an album that was slaved over and the production,
mixing and instrumentation are gorgeous. The sounds and stylistics are very likeable for
fans of 60's psych rock and contemporary folk listeners but there are so many things to
fault. One, there isn't enough to separate this record from their peers (Fleet Foxes mainly)
and the song writing and lyricism was sincere and charming isn't humanistic. The sound
itself sounds old with a touch of newness in the production and recording but it's something
that could exist too well in the time it replicates.
