Review Summary: Classic Masterpiece!

This is the very first album from K-Rino aka The Rap God and it's an old-school, classic masterpiece! It's also one of those old albums that proves that K-Rino was by miles untouchable even back then in the 90's! K-Rino has always been super lyrical, technical, unique, creative, original, consistent, diverse, etc. and this album is so amazing starting from a hilarious intro to Step Into The Mind which is one of those amazing, super lyrical songs with amazing flow. Then you got Stories From The Black Book (the title track), Children Of The Concrete, etc. where he's telling amazing stories with amazing messages. You got also the super creative conceptual song "Cartoon Orgy" and you got those hardcore more technical type of songs like Choose Ya Weapon, Ultimate Flow, etc.

Speaking of Ultimate Flow, that's probably the best song on the album and that song proves he was super crazy with the mindblowing multis, internals, flows, etc. back then too (not just in the 00's like what some think because they obviously haven't listened properly)! That song came out in 93 and people are still trying to rhyme like that but they can't do it half as good! Not even masters of rhyming like Kool G Rap, Gift of Gab, etc. Just my opinion, of course. The way he word things and kick the most amazing quotables while rhyming like that is beyond incredible, to me!

Anyway, there is so much to say about this album, K-Rino and his overall greatness, etc. as usual so I'll end it with what I think are the 5 best songs on this album as I usually do when reviewing albums and this list is as always in no order:
1. Ultimate Flow
2. Step Into The Mind
3. Choose Ya Weapon
4. Stories From The Black Book
5. You Created A Monsta

Now the list can always change and it's never in order (as already said), but this is what I think right now!
Go get this album! It's better than your regular old-school Illmatic, Ready To Die, etc. type of albums, IMO!

Honestly, this review could use work. Suggestion would be that you don't really need anything after the second paragraph and you should expand the first two paragraphs into three or four. Not gonna neg though.

Are you some kind of complex machine that formulates K-Rino reviews? Because you've done maybe four or five and they are all exactly the same. Seriously, try to mix it up, or at least be a little less obvious about it.

Damn I really need to start clicking on albums that I don't think have reviews just in case.

Classic ass Rino here. Danger Zone is my preference by a hair for the real early stuff but this one is just as amazing. One of the best to do this horrorcore style
