These songs never develop into anything. They just increase in volume. I know nothing is supposed to happen in drone, and they got two points for sticking to form. This is the most skeletal drone I've ever heard, and perhaps it just isn't my thing. It is so unspectacular that I could never recommend this to anyone. Emerald's later work is very nice, and I'd suggest you try that before resorting to this album.
