An enjoyable if flawed EP, Veils It White sees the band beginning to expand their sonic palette further than just constant droning guitars. It takes elements of drone, noise, and ambient and tinkers with them in an unstructured, yet sonically pleasurable way. It may be a relatively listless twenty-one minutes, but enough goes on during it to keep the listeners attention, and some really cool moments do pop up here and there to reward them for their patience. It's not their best work by a long shot, but it was more or less a necessary step for the drone duo to make their sound less homogenous.
