Godspeed You! Snow Buildings......a lot of similarities here except maybe a bit more ambient and drone in nature but the field recordings and atmosphere created is quite similar to Lift Your Skinny Fists....and at 2.5 hours long its just as challenging/rewarding

I'm so happy others are mentioning the similar droning sound to GY!BE, in that way this record is one of my favorites by them. Nothing will ever beat the marathon adventure that was DoD, but this gets closer than any other work by the duo.

Incredible atmosphere, bleak and melancholic. Quite similar to early Godspeed and IMO almost as
good as their first two records.
