3.0 good | PuffertsDoxology | April 15th 13 | Decent listen that never stands above the genre standards, but never falls below it. The screams are harsh and have an engaging range. Overall a well put together album that serves it purpose. Heavy when it should be. Soft when it feels appropriate.

Benea Reach's vocalist remains the VIP of the band like on their previous releases but it just isn't enough this time. Possession can still be an enjoyable effort from the Benea Reach in its own right, but don't expect the same greatness they achieved on Alleviat.
