Review Summary: Great Band. Great Album.

Slow Children has released an album that gives me hope for the future of our local music scene. Amongst bland reptitive punk bands, rapcore, and horde of uncreative music they stand out as very talented musicians. So lets get to the good stuff.

The first track, Lions, is a great opener for this album. Once you get into the album you get to hear all the musicianship that they have. One of the tracks that really hit me was Candle. In my opinion this is the best song off the album. I think it is because it really goes deep into one of their personal lives and its a song that could be very personal to anyone that listens to it. Another song that is very good is You Cant See. This song goes back to that fast '90s skate punkish music that was starting.

Now some stuff i did not like. I didn't like how on the album when you would be listening to one song it would be fast skate punk then the next song would be pop punk. Personally, I thought it was too much of a change for me.

Overall, I thought that this album was great and after listening to it I now have hope for some good punk in the future like I said in the first paragraph. These guys are great musicians and should definitely keep making music for a long time. So all in all, download this album and try to see these guys live.
