The only song I really dug was the excellent Broken Heroes, other than that the rest of the album wasn't terrible but wasn't on par with my personal favorite, 1984's Crusader

First EMI album and Saxon's attempt to seduce the US Market, nevertheless "Innocence is No Excuse" remains their most solid effort since "Denim and Leather". My favourite songs here are "Back on the Streets", "Devil Rides Out", "Rock 'n' Roll Gypsy" and specially "Broken Heroes" one of their best songs.
