While these guys clearly excel at their instruments, playing fast and technical, their song writing is poor. I understand being "progressive," spastic, etc., but there needs to be something besides a mash-up of pieces with very little flow. Also, the production/mixing does not do this album any favors. There is NO excuse for an album to sound like this in 2013.
