3.5 great | BASTAG | April 8th 14 | It's good, sometimes fantastic even, but Wiki's repetitive flow which sometimes feel like it goes off aimlessly, (such as in the beginning of Puerto Rican Judo, or Snow Beach) just kind of elongates the listening experience to an annoying length and his lack of variation takes a lot away from the listening experience in my opinion. Hak's unwillingness to even try and enunciate his words takes a whole lot away from any meaning he tries to convey with his lyrics and his voice just ends up sounding like demented shouting and Sporting Life's production can get a little too repetitive. Some songs (Eat, Protein) don't feel as individual as they should be compared to great songs like So Sick Stories, Canal or Puerto Rican Judo (yes, I still like that song despite its intro) and they feel like filler. All in all this LP is actually quite good but some songs come across as amateurish, with Wiki and Hak playing around a bit too long which leaves the tracks at an unneccessary and boring length. Sporting Life's production is ace. It's unique although sometimes repetitive. Give it a listen.

4.0 excellent | Thuglifethor | May 9th 14 | I love the unique sound on the record, and the flows that are on here really give it a smooth sound through each song. There were a couple letdowns on the album, like Puerto Rican Judo, but the good heavily outweighs the bad, and I already can't wait to hear more

3.7 great | Erwann S. STAFF | November 2nd 22 | Fuse trap hi-hats with footwork loops (btw the cover looks a hella lot like DJ Rashad's Double Cup), and you've got So It Goes. The atmosphere is properly unique here, leveraging that kind of urban dread only Burial or Cannibal Ox managed to pull out. As said elsewhere, however, the rapological technique is too one-dimensional for a 50mins album. Too unique to ignore though.

4.0 excellent | Hopeful | January 19th 16 | This whole album feels like it has been dipped in asphalt tar and then rolled through gravel.
These guys are really breaking into a grimey subculture and I'm excited to hear more.
