Review Summary: I don't feel like being clever right now.

Heretics is a good album, as indicated by the 3/5 score shown just above this review.
This is the second full length release from the Lexington, Kentucky trio.
There are 11 tracks featured on this album, spanning a run time of 70+ minutes.

Vocalist and guitarist Matt Page sings with a passionate croon.
Bassist Chris Tackett provides an audible and creative lower register rumble
Drummer Joey Waters smashes the skins swiftly throughout a scintillating showcase of sound.
Please excuse that last sentence.
Together, the band plays tighter than the title track's bombastic conclusion sounds.
Trust me, it's tight.
I guess you'll just have to hear it for yourself though.

If you need more of a rundown, well...
"To Love Is To Leave" is a powerful and poignant ballad.
"How Long We Wait" is a soaring nine minute song that is ironically titled.
"It Must Taste Good" does not sound good, that much I do know.
"Ashes Fall" is a driving, moody rocker that features the band's songwriting at its best.

Simply put, if you like your rock progressive and you like your albums conceptual:
Dream the Electric Sleep might be your new favorite band.
If so, you're welcome.
If not, okay, whatever.

Ok so review aside this album is awesome. Defo not a 3.0, some of the best prog I've heard this year.

Tried this once and wasnt sure, may give it another spin.

Your review reads as a list, try to be more conversational.

I can definitely tell it's something that needs to grow, but I can definitely tell it'll grow into something brilliant. It holds its length really well and is fairly original, which counts for something

so the album is inconsistent but has some nice high moments.
