4.0 excellent | Voivod STAFF | July 30th 15 | In the early '80s, Thin Lizzy had already made a critically acclaimed shift towards the newly emerging heavy metal scene, ending up with a hard rock/heavy metal hybrid that's relevant even in these times; Unfortunately, Lynott's fatal affinity for drugs and alcohol abuse halted what could have been from Thunder & Lightning onwards; Now, go fast forward some 30+ years; Black Trip from Sweden have all it takes to continue from where Thin Lizzy (and other important NWOBHM outfits) left off, especially in view of a sophomore new album that's due this September...
