On their 4th album, Battleroar give out some "by the numbers" but enjoyable epic metal, that works better when performed on a live stage. The vocals of Gerrit Mutz are certainly an acquired taste, whereas the enticing violin melodies of the album may bring in mind outfits such as Skyclad (or even My Dying Bride!), which is, of course, a good thing.
