Got a bit of a problem with run on sentences. Work on getting your points across in a more concise manner. That's the biggest issue here though.

"it is safe to say that Ne Obliviscaris has multiple strong arguments to back them up as being one of the most relevant and talented bands out there"
.....like?
This could benefit from some proofreading and editing, and there's quite a bit of hyperbole and idiomatic language throughout the review. Other than that, it wasn't bad.

I really miss the flamenco-styled guitars...

I miss when they didn't double track the harsh vox....
Also, I wish they'd get a new drummer and ditch the annoying bic pen bass drum triggers.

Album is brilliant and so much easier to listen to than Portal. Good review. Your style's a little more colloquial than most, but there's nothing wrong with describing what you thought of the album so long as you explain it well.

Although nicely articulated, most of this is one giant piece of fangirl. Not gonna neg, but you'd better cut the objectively phrased opinions if you want to see a pos from me.

album is worth fangirling over.
|

Not the case for me.
For almost everything the album does right (Instrumentation, being a much more concise album than Portals), theres flaws, such as the vocal performance, the overall production, and the fact that the tracks seem to lose steam over time to bring the whole thing down for me.

| |
Oh snap!
Whats weird is that I still dig Portal a slight bit more than this. Whatever the case though I have to admit the violins are utilized on this superbly

Tim Charles, man. Xenoyr is a pretty great vocalist and all but that violin is what makes this band.

I love Portal, but to me, this album is way more complete and polished when it comes to performances and songwriting. Portal might still be more entertaining to listen to though, and this album's production annoys me to no end.

I fail to see what's so bad about the production. Not kvlt enough? The drums sounds a little too triggered, I guess.

The drumming is probably why the band is labeled black metal
