A strange return to form for Third Day, Lead Us Back feels like the listener has walked in on the band in a private worship session. That gives it an instant likability; however, the lyrics, as Psalm-like as they are at times, feel as impromptu as anything they've ever written. This is definitely chock-full of good worship tunes for a congregation, but as a collection of songs on an album, it falls a little flatter than I had hoped.
