Strange Relations are fairly convincing in their approach to post-punk gloom; On the other hand, the well intended naivety infused in most of the arrangements, a result of the intersection of post-punk with "lighter" genres (i.e. indie rock), reveal a band that is on par with the idiorhythmic mindset of the teen aged audience it aims reaching.
